The 2023 British Masters Championships saw Woking Masters break multiple British, European, and World Records on their way to finishing as the third-ranked overall club. The last weekend of Swim England South East Age Group Regionals brought some great racing across the board. Michael was selected to represent Great Britain in the recent World Triathlon - Aquathlon (swim and run) World Championships in Ibiza. The race consisted of 1000m sea swim and 5km run, and he competed as a Junior. The second weekend of the annual regional Championships was hosted by Wycombe leisure centre last weekend. 6 Woking swimmers made the journey as the senior swimmers went up against the top 15year olds and older for women and 16 year olds and over for men. Winchester Sport and Leisure Centre hosted the first weekend of the Summer Championships. Over the 3 weekends we have 54 swimmers representing the Woking Swimming Club with 37 girls and 17 boys swimming. The Masters Long Course Championship 2023 saw another spectacular weekend of racing for Woking Swimming Club, returning from Swansea with four British records, 24 gold medals, 10 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.
