We are delighted to announce that Woking Swimming Club has secured a place in the NASL Plate Final for the second successive year. This year’s final will be held at the Sandwell Aquatic Centre, the venue that hosted the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham — a fantastic stage for our swimmers. The third round for the Woking Team B of the National Arena League Division Two West was swam at the Hart Leisure Centre, Hart on Saturday the 6th of December. The third round of the National Arena Premier Division took place at Wycombe Leisure Centre on Saturday 6th December. This final round brought together the six highest-performing A teams. Woking Swimming Club swam well on the night, with steady performances throughout and a number of excellent PBs. Premier Team Round 2 of the National Arena League was swam at the Braywick Leisure Centre on Saturday 8 November. Woking Swimming Club finished in 2nd place and have given ourselves a good chance of going on to the regional final again this season but need to execute a similar performance in the next round in order to do so. Following on from British champs, Woking SC swimmers race for the final time as we approach the end of the season. Day 1 29/07 Alfie Davies (14-15) takes on the 400 free and clocked in at 4:20.82, dropping nearly 5 seconds off his pb and seeds in 3rd for the finals. Darcey Arnold (14-15) takes on the 200 free and posted a time of 2:11.06, slightly off her pb but a season best, and seeds 4th for the finals.
