Michael Gar Silver World Triathlon

Michael was selected to represent Great Britain in the recent World Triathlon - Aquathlon (swim and run) World Championships in Ibiza.

The race consisted of 1000m sea swim and 5km run, and he competed as a Junior.  

Michael won the silver medal as a Junior against a large number of fellow triathletes(Junior, Senior and Professional) and  was boosted by leaving the water section just behind a triathlon hero of his.

Michael continues to race and train with a squad in Italy, returning to swim training with Woking Swimming Club when he comes back for races.
