Level 3 Coach Congratulations

We would like to congratulate Alex Counsell on becoming a Swim England Level 3 Head Coach after completing his course work last season.

Alex joined Woking Swimming Club a few months after I did 9 years ago as a level 1 coach, working between teaching and coaching swimmers in many levels. He has been increasing his knowledge and expertise as a coach ever since with experience at higher levels of competition.

As a colleague I have always admired Alex’s honesty, loyalty and reliability but more so he has been a valuable member of the WSC Coaching Team. This has culminated in Alex now taking responsibility of the Pure Gold squad this season and taking this squad forward while continuing to develop our juniors at Academy level.
