The British Summer Championships

The British Summer Championships 2022 will again provide a key end-of-season competition opportunity for every athlete involved across a busy programme, from 22nd-28th July, at the Ponds Forge International Sports Centre.

The meet will continue to form part of a broader Performance Pathway aimed at increasing and supporting junior talent on the journey towards senior medal-winning performance, as well as offering more athletes across the home nations an opportunity to compete at one of the end of season events.

Results from the event can be found online:  British Summer Championships 2022 - SPORTSYSTEMS Meet Results Service (swimming.org)

English Summer Championships

The National Summer Meet is Swim England’s biggest domestic swimming event of the year.

The Summer Meet forms part of a swimming competition structure in Great Britain whereby the top ranked swimmers are invited to compete at the British Swimming Summer Championships.

The next ranked swimmers at Swim England affiliated clubs – or those who have chosen to be ranked as an English swimmer – are invited to compete at the Nationals.

The rankings are on swimmers’ performances at level 1 meets between a qualification window, typically between March and May of the same calendar year.
