South East Regionals Weekends 1 & 2

Woking SC Webmaster

South East Swim England Regionals Summer (Long Course) Championship which started on the Saturday 20th of April and goes through to the 6th of May. South East regionals is the main summer competition inside the National Qualifying Window which swimmers use to gain National times and rankings.

Weekend 1 (K2 Crawley SC)
This was at K2 in Crawley, unfortunately the boom was broken and turned the session into a short course meet which means that the results cannot be counted towards rankings. This is a major blow for all swimmers that have been working towards this part of the season.
This unfortunately has meant that SE Region had an issue to deal with and part of their solution was to conduct re-swims for invited swimmers on the second weekend which meant an increase to load of some of our swimmers.
