Following his Gold medal at the English Nationals, Brin Dorrell has been selected to attend the South East Phase 1 of the Swim England National Pathway Programme 2017. Well done Brin!
Swim England Swimming organise a series of development programmes that provide a pathway to support young swimmers in their quest to achieve senior international podium success.
In Phase 1 during this camp, the aim is to create an environment that allows swimmers to increase their potential, improve their skills and enhance their swim specific knowledge. Swimmers will then be profiled on physical, technical, physiological and historical factors and may be selected to progress to the next phase.
Congratulations also to Matthew Ferguson who, following his 3rd place in a national final, has been selected for the National Sporting Excellence Award (previously AASE), that runs for 15 months alongside A levels and is open to those swimmers who have a top 6 national performance in any Olympic event.
