ASA Registration Cards
Registration with the ASA is compulsory.
- Membership cards issued by the ASA to all swimmers, officials,
coaches etc are LIFE CARDS, i.e. they will be valid for as long as you
are registered with the ASA.
- Membership will be renewed at the start of each year but only cards
for new members will be issued.
- If the life card is lost, you will have to pay a fee (currently
£5.00) to have it replaced. This is charged by the ASA, not us!
- The Life card will continue to be valid if a swimmer changes
category (see below) or moves to a different
club.
- Your ASA registration number is on the card – you will need this
number when entering Open Meets.
- You may need to produce the Life card at Open Meets, County
Championships etc.
Category One – members of any age who are learning to

discipline in open competition (Associate Members of WSC).
Category Two – all members of any age who compete in
any discipline in open competitions (Full Members of WSC from age 9).
Category Three – coaches, teachers, helpers, qualified
officials, officers etc.
